Family Foster Care

Family Foster Care is for children whose families are unable to care for them temporarily. These children receive care and supervision from professionally-trained foster families. Foster care is usually a short-term living situation until children can be re-unified with their families, freed for adoption, or until a relative can be identified who will provide them a permanent home. All agencies that provide foster care are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
