Mark Mecum, M.A., is the chief executive officer of OACCA. In this role, he directs the strategic initiatives of the association, its advocacy and lobbying responsibilities, and development of collaborative partnerships.

Mark advocates on behalf of member organizations to state departments and the Ohio Legislature.  He is a leader in development of state legislation and regulations that improve the quality of care and services for children, caregivers, and families.

Within the association, Mark manages advisory committees, task forces, and projects including the Child and Family Health Collaborative of Ohio.  Externally, he serves on government task forces and commissions, including the Governor’s Council on Juvenile Justice, the Governor’s Office of Health Transformation Behavioral Health Re-Design Team, the ODJFS Foster Care Advisory Group, and the ODJFS Partners for Ohio’s Families Advisory Board.  Mark serves on the Board of Ohio Reach and My Very Own Blanket.

Mark started his career with OACCA in 2006 and became CEO in 2011. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Political Science from Ohio University, a Certificate in Executive Specialization from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Kelly is the Associate Director for Government Relations. She has over 20 years of experience in state government including over 12 years of government affairs experience in the health care field.  She currently serves on the Steering Committee for Advocates for Ohio’s Future.  Kelly holds a B.A. degree in History from the Ohio State University.
